This means the immune system is less able to defend against a yeast infection and the existing yeast can feed off the higher sugar amounts enabling it to rapidly grow and spread.
Learning to manage your stress is therefore important. Possible techniques are yoga, meditation and deep breathing. You can also help strengthen your immune system by drinking lots of water as it will flush out toxins from your body as well as cleanse your colon and improve your digestive system. Regular exercise is also important as it makes your blood circulation better which means the whole of your body gets nourished more efficiently. Eating more fibre and less junk will also help.
