Natural Yeast Infection Cures

What is it?

Unfortunately Candida infections are one of the most common illnesses that reoccur. Nobody wants to be the victim of a chronic disease but some of us have that misfortune. However in this article I will look at the symptoms of a candida infection and some natural cures that will help you treat it fast.

It is not just women that are affected by yeast infections. Men and children can also become infected. The Candida are a fungi that are microscopic living in your vaginal tract, mouth and throat, and intestines. Given certain changes in your body’s balance and the right environment the fungus can grow and spread leading to the yeast infection or Candidiasis.

Symptoms that people can experience include itching, discharge, burning, white spots, pain and a yeasty odor. There are others that are less common though. If you do not treat the infection it becomes a chronic issue. There are over the counter options and prescriptions, but they do not always treat the root of the problem, just the symptoms and so the infection will return.

Natural yeast infection cures:
• If fighting oral yeast infections (Thrush) try using warm salt water to rinse your mouth out regularly and drink cool drinks to sooth it. Yogurt drinks that are probiotic and sugar free would be a great choice.
• Garlic is not just a cooking ingredient. It has healing antifungual properties that fight the fungus. It is very effective at dealing with the root problem and the symptoms.
• Bathing in water with apple cider vinegar mixed in is another remedy. Soak the area that is infected for at least 15 minutes. You can also drink a mix of water and vinegar to help rebalance the body’s acidity.
• Yogurt that is probiotic and fruit and sugar free works like a charm and is one of the most commonly used natural yeast infection cures. It soothes the symptoms and the good bacteria in it fight the fungus. Do not use yogurt with sugar as the yeast infection feeds on sugar.
