Natural remedies – yeast infection natural remedy
Using the natural method for home treatment of candida has become a very common health care solution; more and more individuals have been choosing home remedies in recent years. Side effects from medicines used without prescriptions usually come with unwanted complications – this is why so many individuals are turning to natural remedies to handle yeast infection.
One yeast infection natural remedy is to refrain from eating junk foods, caffeine, dairy products like milk, plus anything made from white or wheat flour, processed foods, alcohol and especially sugar(which increases yeast).
When it comes to hygiene habits, the best thing is to avoid public bathing facilities like those at the pool, the gym or any other areas where many individuals use a common intimate area. Condoms are a must even when it comes to avoiding a yeast infection; also, do not use any lubricant that contains non-oxynol-9.
Heavy use of any type of perfumes or scented products is not a good idea, even when it comes to tampons, sanitary pads or body sprays. All of these types of products will eliminate the healthy bacteria that destroys yeast and keeps the body system in balance.
Clothing that is too tight, especially intimates, will prevent the body from getting proper ventilation. Yeast breeds when the conditions are moist and warm – so clothing that makes you perspire is a bad idea. In the summer heat cotton is a better choice if possible.
A possible yeast infection natural remedy is using garlic because it’s a natural anti-fungal agent and will destroy candida. If you do not have an allergy to garlic, a piece of gauze or cheesecloth with garlic wrapped inside can be used internally or directly where the infection exists. This will take a few overnight applications.
Another possible treatment is the use of plain, sugar-free yogurt. This too has a natural anti-fungal agent that will destroy yeast. Make sure the ingredients listed on the yogurt include L-antobacillus acidophilus. This too can be used directly in the area of infection or it can be ingested daily. It does take some time but it will work.
The last method has become very popular as one of the best choices from the natural remedies for yeast infection. The tea tree oil is used internally directly on the affected area by placing a couple of drops on a tampon that has been coated with olive oil to keep the tea tree oil from seeping into the tampon.
This here is no medical advice, it’s a collection of home remedies; to make sure you make the best choice, just consult a specialist.
