Signs of Candida on the Tongue

Yeast infections are more commonly thought of as something that affects the vagina in women, but it can happen to both genders, anywhere on the body. Caused by a fungus called Candida albicans it like other fungi prefers places that are warm and moist to grow in. This means another place it can affect is in the mouth and therefore on the tongue. LGS and Candida

LGS is the abbreviation for Leaky Gut Syndrome something that can occur when a person has internal candida overgrowth. This is not a common diagnosis from the medical world however, as internal or intestinal candida problems are not a recognized condition by many doctors. Eczema and the Overgrowth of Candida Albicans

Can Candida be Present on the Esophagus but not the Mouth?
